The European Union (EU) uses CBAM to develop and implement technologies that will limit the energy efficient and environmental impact of businesses.
Why CBAM Needed?
CBAM, demonstrates a win-win approach by financing the costs incurred while modernizing the businesses in the EU region and protecting the companies producing in the EU region from competitive pricing by increasing the costs of the countries that do not take carbon emissions into account by producing outside the EU region.
